Saturday, September 9th, 2017 marks the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, 18th Dhu al-Hijjah, 1438 AH
I.M.A.M. Celebrates Eid al-Ghadir & Eid al-Mubahalah in Dearborn, MI
The Imam Mahdi Association of Marjaeya, held an auspicious celebratory program marking the events of Ghadir and Mubahalah in Dearborn, MI. The program began with the beautiful recitation of excerpts from the Holy Quran. The main event then consisted of an informative speech about Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (p) and the event of Ghadir Khumm, which was delivered by the honorable keynote speaker, Shaykh Borair Badrawi. There were a multitude of women and children in attendance.
The ceremony included various fun and exciting programs such as a raffle, prizes, and the distribution of a variety of delicious refreshments and desserts. In addition, there was a special, supervised, educational program for the children, which also included prizes, treats, a fun science presentation, and the distribution gifts.
The ceremony concluded with a beautiful recitation of Dua (supplication) as well as the concluding remarks.
