Saturday, September 9th, 2017 marks the Event of Eid al-Ghadir, 18th Dhu al-Hijjah, 1438 AH
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has said:
“The day of Ghadir Khumm is the best Eid (day of celebration) of my nation. It is the day on which God, the Almighty, ordered me to [preach] the appointment of my brother, Ali ibn Abi Talib, as the flag and principle of my nation, so people shall be guided by him after me. And this is the day in which God has completed the religion and perfected the bounties upon my nation and [the day] on which He was pleased with Islam as their religion.”
