Islam teaches us that everything is subject to God’s will, and human beings are His servants by virtue of this condition. Moreover, the state of ubudiyyah is unchanging and persists for the duration of life, and its pinnacle reflects ultimate success. Thus, a true believer is one who cultivates themselves as such, a resists the tides of change that occur due to the changes in their surroundings. This represents permanent stability and freedom.
