In a televised grand opening ceremony, attended by religious scholars, public officials, community members, and local media, the Imam Hussain (p) Islamic Center opened its doors to the community on January 7th, 2017. As part of the ceremonious proceedings, Sayyid M.B. Kashmiri, Chairman of the Imam Mahdi Association of Marjaeya, was invited by the Boise community to deliver the keynote address.
After leading congregational prayers, Sayyid Kashmiri presented the volunteers, recognized for their support in the establishment of the center, with gifts and accolades. He then joined with center representatives and attendants for a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony.
