Birth Anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (p), 1443 A.H.

Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, marks the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, 13th of Rajab, 1443 A.H.

Imam Ali (p) is reported to have said:

“God, Glory be to Him, commanded that the sustenance of the poor be from the wealth of the rich; therefore, no poor goes hungry except as a result of what the rich have enjoyed.”

[Al-Radhi, Nahjul Balagha, wisdom 319]

“إنّ اللّه‏ سبحانَهُ فَرَضَ في أموالِ الأغنياءِ أقواتَ الفُقَراءِ، فما جاعَ فَقيرٌ إلّا بما مُتِّعَ بهِ غَني”
