The nights of destiny (layali al-qadr) of are of utmost importance to a Muslim. Worship during those nights can determine the next year, and potentially, the rest of a person’s life.

Thus, how should we prepare for these holy nights and which acts of worship should we focus on?

There are so many wonderful prayers and supplications that a Muslim can perform during the nights of destiny, yet, it should be understood that in order to maximize their benefit, a person must engender the qualities of seeker at God’s door.
